Concessionary Pricing at Wild and Weeds

On some events you’ll see two prices: the standard price and a lower, concessionary price. Here’s why, and how it works.

Why I do this

Part of why I do this work is simple: everyone should be able to learn to find, cook and use good wild food. Money shouldn’t be the reason someone misses out.

Running events costs money, though, so I can’t offer a lower price on everything. Instead, on selected events I hold back a few places at a concessionary price.

How it works

  • If an event has concessionary places, its page shows the concessionary price next to the standard one, with its own booking button.
  • There are only a few on each event, so they go on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you need one, just choose the concessionary option when you book. You don’t have to prove anything or explain your circumstances: I trust you to know what’s right for you.
  • Not every event has them. Where there aren’t any, the listing only shows the standard price.

If the places have gone, or an event doesn’t have them

Get in touch. A few places on a few events won’t cover everyone, and I’d rather talk it through with you than have cost be a closed door. Every situation is different, so I handle these one to one.

What happens next

I aim to reply within 48 hours. If you’ve booked an event, the details I send before the day include a number for questions on the day.
