Autumn Foraging Walk: In Search of Fungi

I’m so excited to invite you on an adventure just over the border into South Scotland! On September 20th, we’ll be heading near Dumfries for a special autumn foraging walk with a focus on one of my favourite things: mushrooms. Historically, this area has been a treasure trove for fantastic finds, and I can’t wait to see what gems the season has in store for us.

This guided experience is a perfect way to appreciate the incredible wisdom of wild foods in the local landscape. We’ll focus on how to safely and accurately identify common wild plants and fungi. I’ll share my knowledge of what to look for at this time of year, helping you gain valuable seasonal knowledge and learn to distinguish between edible and toxic species.
