But what if some of the most useful\, nutritious\, and even medicinal plants around are ones you already walk past every day\, in your garden\, your yard\, the verge outside your door? They are\, and that’s the knowledge Bex wants to share with you. \nJoin Bex Northman\, Association of Foragers member\, for a two-hour introduction to backyard foraging at Tarn Road Nurseries. You’ll learn to recognise the “weeds” and familiar plants already growing around you\, understand what makes them worth picking\, and leave with the confidence to look at your own garden differently. \nWhat You’ll Learn\n\nHow to identify common garden and hedgerow plants such as nettle\, dandelion\, plantain\, cleavers\, chickweed\, and early-autumn hedgerow fruits like elderberries\, blackberries\, and rosehips (exact plants on the day depend on what’s growing.
